His research integrates engineering, aquatic biology, and artificial intelligence to develop technologies for aquaculture, conservation, and aquatic resource management.<\/p><p>His research program includes aquacultural engineering and recirculating aquaculture systems, water quality management and water treatment, hatchery and reproductive technologies, and artificial intelligence for aquatic animal monitoring and management. These approaches are applied to both production and conservation systems, including the culture and recovery of threatened and endangered aquatic species.
