The atomic-scale synthesis of oxide heterostructures, with the concept of \u201cmaterials by design,\u201d has successfully demonstrated emergent properties not observed in bulk materials. Based on two-dimensional (2D) geometry, I am interested in the design, manipulation, and applications of materials for broader impacts.
