An expert in entrepreneurship as well as electrical engineering, he saw the opportunity for UC Davis to take a leadership role in the economic vitality of the region. During his 10-year tenure as Dean of Extended Learning, he co-facilitated the establishment of the Graduate School of Management. The Dorfs are generous donors to the College of Engineering, the Graduate School of Management and the Robert and Margrit Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts. The couple\u2019s wide-ranging support for the College of Engineering includes funding the renovation of 1065 Kemper Hall to provide space for undergraduate design and communication courses.<\/p>
Joy Dorf served for more than a decade as the associate pastor for Davis Community Church.
