Biography

Peer-Timo Bremer joined CASC as a computer scientist in December of 2006. Before coming to LLNL he worked as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Timo’s research has focused on topological techniques for the analysis and visualization of scientific data and application of related ideas to various other fields. Recently he has worked on all-quadrilateral re-meshing, MLS surfaces, and general multi-resolution techniques.

Peer-Timo earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis in 2004 and a Diplom in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Hannover, Germany in 2000. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the IEEE Computer Society.
