Graduate Advising
Between 2010-2017, Jean VanderGheynst directed the Renewable Energy Systems Opportunity for Unified Research and Collaboration and Education (RESOURCE) program. This program supported and trained 30 engineering graduate students on communicating Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) to a broader audience. A key outcome of RESOURCE was the development and publication of peer-reviewed teaching modules on engineering for 3rd-6th grade classrooms.
